About The Requirements
Connection of the power to the outdoor kit requires 14 gage solid wires. Stranded wires or wires of different size will not work. The outdoor enclosure must be installed within the range of reception from the Cyber-Rain access point. The typical range is between 300' to 1000'. To insure optimum performance install the unit away from metal enclosures and transformers. It is strongly recommended that the outdoor installation be performed by a professional electrician to make sure that it complies with regulations in your area.

The Cyber-Rain Wireless Waterflow Controller Outdoor Mounting Kit is an outer casing made of molded UV stabilized ABS and weighs 4 lbs. The outside dimensions are 14.5” x 10.8” x 4.3” with inside dimensions of 10.5” x 9.5” x 4”. The power module voltage rating is 110 VAC and uses 14 Gage Solid Wires only, the cable feed is 3 x 9/16” rubber cable glands. The overall rating of the outer casing is NEMA 3R/IP42.
